Whoodles are friendly, playful dogs that are adaptable to many different living environments. These dogs do just as well in a large house as they would in a one-bedroom apartment, so they're a good fit for families, couples, and singles alike. Whoodles are also known to do very well with children, but they sometimes have a tendency to chase smaller animals. So, it's important to socialize a Whoodle as early as possible. In terms of training a Whoodle, it's best to be firm, yet kind. While obedient, these dogs do not respond very well to timid owners who have trouble establishing their pack leader status. When properly trained and socialized, though, Whoodles make loyal and loving companions.

Whoodles are a healthy breed, especially being a hybrid breed but they still can be subject to some conditions, such as eye infections and diseases, kidney issues, Addison's disease or retinal atrophy.

Whoodles are an energetic and playful breed who loves to be surrounded by toys. They enjoy a long, daily walk in the park or on a hiking trail. They'll also enjoy mentally stimulating activities, like dog puzzles or games

A Whoodle's curly coat require a lot of upkeep. You'll need to brush or comb their hair daily to keep it tangle free. A regular trip to the groomer every 2-3 months will keep their coat clean and trimmed to the propper length.

Thanks to their Poodle parent, Whoodles don't really shed, making them a hypoallergenic breed.

A Whoodle's fur comes in almost any shade, but the most common are fawn, cream and gold. Their coat is silky, curly, and medium length but just in a single coat. They are usually a medium-sized dog, standing at 12-20 inches tall.

The Whoodle is a designer dog that's a cross between the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier and the Standard Poodle. Like most designer dog breeds, the Whoodle doesn't have a well-documented history. Most of the information regarding this breed's history and origins is speculation. Despite their unclear history, Whoodles have become quite popular among designer dog lovers. The sweet disposition of the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier combined with the hypoallergenic coat of the Poodle makes for a delightful hybrid. Whoodles are not purebred dogs, so they are not eligible for American Kennel Club (AKC) registration. These dogs are, however, recognized by several smaller clubs for hybrid and designer breeds, like the Designer Dogs Kennel Club (DDKC) and the Dog Registry of America (DRA).
