Never Settle Acres

Australian Shepherd

Winchester, VA 22603

Born December 31, 2024. Ready for pick up on or after February 28, 2025.  Tails docked.  Eight-week vaccinations and recommended de-wormings at 2, 3, 4, 6, and 8 weeks, will be performed. Puppies are CKC registrable (for an additional fee of $200). Parents on site. Dam (Liza Jane) is a Red Tri, about 40 lbs. and Sire (Zukko) is a Red Merle about 60 lbs.  She had one female red merle, one male red merle, and three male red tris.

Liza Jane is timid.  Despite this, she is also protective of our family, our property, and her puppies.  This is her second litter and is taking excellent care of her babies!  She loves these little fuzz balls.  Her motherly instincts were immediate.  She likes to stay close to our family whether we’re in the house or outside keeping up the 10 acres of land she loves to explore.  She likes to know where everyone is.  She likes to cuddle on the couch and our beds when we take a break.  She lays behind me while I work throughout the day but isn’t hesitant to let me know when she needs attention or needs to go outside.

Zukko, our sire, he’s a huge love bug.  He’s extremely aware of his surroundings and can sense when one of us needs a little more attention.  He is incredibly handsome and has beautiful markings.  He loves to be right at your heels.  Loves to be talked to.  He loves any kind of positive attention really.  On the rare instances I have to use my stern voice, he’s immediately sorry. You can see it in his body language, mostly in his eyes.  He also loves to cuddle and give kisses.

Both dogs are very observant and can tell when my day’s not going the way I had hoped.  The emotional support they provide is second to none.  In addition, they are very cognizant of the energy/vibes other people give off.  They stay close if they sense distress on our part.

A little bit about Never Settle Acres…We’ve been in business since 2016.  We are a Veteran owned, family business.  Since then, we have found over 90 puppies new homes. Our puppies live up and down the east coast.  We even have one living across the pond in England.  Our puppies are well socialized during their time here at Never Settle Acres.  They get lots of attention love during their time with us.

Aussies are known to be easily trained for almost anything.  Originally, Aussies were bred to be working farm dogs.  Their natural tendency is to heard animals on farms.  Although they are still wonderful herding dogs once trained to do so, most of my clients have welcomed their puppy into their home as a pet. And something we are even more proud of; we have one puppy that completed service dog training for a retired Navy Veteran.  The two of them have an incredible relationship.  That Navy Veteran’s family were so pleased with “Dash,” they welcomed three more of my Aussies into their home.  One for each of the family members in their household.
