Our journey raising mastiffs started with adopting Linus from a situation that was less then ideal for him. We fell in love with him the moment we brought him home, and he took no time getting used to having room to run on our spacious lawn. Soon though, we knew he needed a playmate other than our two year old, and we found our gorgeous Ginger. Her spunk and adventurous spirit is a perfect fit with Linus’s laidback, easygoing temperament. Mastiffs have been called gentle giants for a long time, and these two are no exceptions. Our son plays with them daily, and these two tolerate anything from him with a calmness rarely seen in other breeds.

While we couldn’t imagine owning any other type of dog, we know this breed of dog is not for anyone.
